What is in this course?

Course Description: Ride on Mowers are great machines for keeping Formal and Amenity grass areas in good condition. This course can be registered for cylinder, rotary and flail type machines. Like any piece of machinery, if used incorrectly has the risk of causing a serious injury to the operator and others. This course will cover the safety guidelines and correct techniques of using a ride on mower. Covering: Risk Assessment, Legislation, PPE, Safety Checks, Pre-Start Checks, Site Safety, Operation of the Machine, Clean down and Aftercare Maintenance. Suitable for those working in Arboriculture, Forestry, Gardens, Grounds, Facilities and Estate Maintenance. Important: Candidates must be aged 16 years old or over and ideally hold a current Emergency First Aid at Work certificate.
