What is in this course?

Course Description: Pesticide qualification for those wanting to apply professional pesticides using Stem injection equipment, for the control of invasive weeds such as Japanese Knotweed. It is recommended that this course is completed alongside PA6aw if this qualification is not already held by the candidate. This course can only be taken if the PA1 qualification has been achieved. Covering: Environmental Risk Assessment, Invasive Weed Identification, Types of Injectors, Injection Equipment Checks, Needle Types, Calibration of the Injector, Understanding the Product Label, Accurate Application, Record Keeping and Post Use of the Injector Suitable for those working in Agriculture, Arboriculture, Forestry, Grounds, Facilities and Estate Maintenance. It is a Legal Requirement to be qualified when handling and applying Professional Pesticide Candidates must be aged 16 years old or over to do this course.
