What is in this course?

Course Description: Leaf Blowers are great machines for various uses, as well as helping clear up leaves, can be used clearing off grass and dust off other machinery. This course can be run independently as a half day course or in conjunction alongside another course such as Hedgecutters. Like any piece of machinery, if used incorrectly has the risk of causing a serious injury to the operator and others. This course will cover the safety guidelines and correct techniques of using a leaf blower. Covering: Risk Assessment, Legislation, PPE, Safety Checks, Pre-Start Checks, Site Safety, Operation of the Machine, Clean down and Aftercare Maintenance. Suitable for those working in Arboriculture, Forestry, Grounds, Facilities and Estate Maintenance. Important: Candidates must be aged 16 years old or over and ideally hold a current Emergency First Aid at Work certificate.
