What is in this course?

Course Description: Clearing Saws are great machines for clearing areas of unwanted thick woody vegetation. Like any piece of machinery, if used incorrectly has the risk of causing a serious injury to the operator and others. This course will cover the safety guidelines and correct techniques of using a clearing saw. Covering: Risk Assessment, Legislation, PPE, Safety Checks, Pre-Start Checks, Site Safety, Operation of the Machine, Clean down and Aftercare Maintenance. Suitable for those working in Arboriculture, Forestry, Gardens, Grounds, Facilities and Estate Maintenance. Important: Candidates must be aged 16 years old or over and ideally hold a current Emergency First Aid at Work certificate.
